    Mr. Hughes - I will provide this information to the Park and Forestry Department. They will add this request to their list for future cut backs. They are currently working through an extensive list of take downs of dead or dying trees, so I cannot offer a concrete timeline of when the work will be done.

    Although things like this may not go on in other cities/towns, it would happen other places in the city of Quincy and has for that matter. As I said before, it took them about 6 months to pave Center Street after digging it up. As I also said before, Quincy DPW needs to get their act together and learn from past mismanagement of similar projects instead of repeating failures. The fact that they keep operating the same way tells me that A) they are inept and don't have the ability to manage these projects or B) they just don't give a @#$% if residents tear up their cars on city roads or C) all of the above. If I were you I'd call the mayor and demand answers and action

    And now it's been 28 days since the 'repaving' began. Actually, Chris, it wasn't 'repaving' that was done, but more accurately, GTA was doing 'trench re-stabilization'. We've been dealing with a road that rivals Range Rover's test course since prior to Thanksgiving. Empty promises of solutions. This is simply UNACCEPTABLE. WHEN will the new company, Derbes Brothers be REPAVING????? This wouldn't happen in the other areas of our city. The other residents wouldn't put up with it.
